Welcome to the emesene OS X builds page. The packages below contains emesene and all of the dependencies needed to run it on your system.

About emesene

emesene is a chat program that allows you to connect to different networks like MSN, Gtalk, Facebook chat, Jabber and others.

If you are using a version of emesene prior to 2.12.1 build 2, please update now as the more recent builds are much more reliable/stable!

Known Issues

• No native icon
• Adium message themes do not work
• Emotion selector causes a crash

Support

If you have an issue with emesene itself, such as errors or certain features not working, please post the issue on the emesene github.

If the issue you are having is with the OS X side of things, such as the application not launching or GTK/PyGTK errors, please follow the steps below:

• Note down your OS X version, architecture and processor type (Can be found under System Profiler)
• Note down your emesene version (Highlight the application and select “Get Info”)
• Check whether an error log is present on the Desktop (Either emesene error log.txt or emesene 2 error log.txt) or in ~/Library/Logs (emesene.log)
• Check console for any entries from org.emesene.emesene

Once you have all of these things, contact support@sidhosting.co.uk with your problem and I will try to resolve it as quickly as I can.
